1) URI Sodexo Graduate Program (GP)
Integrated Experiential Track
Available for Sept 2025 Start
In our partnership with the University of Rhode Island we are proud to offer an innovative Future Education Model (FEM) Graduate Program that integrates master’s level coursework, 100% online, and supervised experiential learning in one program to meet the 2024 entry-level RDN requirement. Students become MS, RDNs in 12 months under the Future Education Model Standards.
International students under F-1 and J-1 visas are not eligible to enroll since it is a fully online program.
This program option starts with an in-person orientation in September 2025.
Applications are due in DICAS January 26th.

URI MS Option
Available for Feb 2026 Start
We offer our18-month Dietetic Internship with URI MS Option (MSDI) program through our Individualized Experiential Track with the University of Rhode Island for students who want to start their experiential learning experience in February. The graduate degree program with URI will begin the following September, and is completed 100% online. This program option is specifically designed for individuals who hold a bachelor's degree and desire a flexible route to complete both the internship and the Masters in Dietetics.

Available for Feb 2026 Start

3) Sodexo Dietetic Internship
Available for a Sept 2025 and Feb 2026 Start For applicants with a masters degree (or masters degree in progress, close to completion), we are excited to offer a free-standing internship option only, with interns completing 1024 hours of supervised practice. This option is available for both applications cycles on DICAS. With two cohorts each year: Applications are due in DICAS January 26th for our September 2025 start. For our September 2025 Start, we will notify you of your acceptance decision by March 1, 2025 (likely these will go out sooner!)

All applications require:
- a Personal statement (approximately 1000 words)
recommended to include:
- Why do you want to enter the dietetics profession?
- What are some experiences that have helped to prepare you
for your career?
- What are your short-term and long-term goals?
- What are your strengths and weaknesses or areas needing
improvement?
- Anything else you feel that is important to add - work experience
- volunteer work
- three References
(at least one academic and at least one work or volunteer; references should not be from family members) - honors and awards
- calculated GPAs (DPD Sci, DPD Prof., DPD Overall)
- you can pay DICAS for this, or enter the courses and grades on your own for free.
- completion of a short questionnaire (on DICAS in the section called "Questions") where we ask you to indicate your preferred geographic region(s) (State, City) for completing you experiential learning along with your specialty rotation preferences.
- To applicants who are reapplying and using their previous application on DICAS: DICAS does not allow you to update certain sections of your application. Please email any updated information that you can’t submit on DICAS to [email protected]
Interviews and Specific Questions about Your Application
Our Selection Committee reviews every application. Applications are rated on every aspect of the DICAS application. Applicants who achieve a score that meets or exceeds the qualifications of our Selection Committee will be invited to interview in person or in a video conference call.
In accordance with ACEND guidelines, the Selection Committee will not provide information on application status to you during the selection process. All communications, regarding results of the application and appointment process, will come from D&D Digital on the established notification dates during the Spring and Fall match times.

APPLICATION FEE PAYMENT
You will need to pay a fee to DICAS. Check with DICAS to verify their current fee structure. During the most recent application cycle it was set at $50 for the first program you apply to and $25 for each additional program. This fee is payable to DICAS.

Priority Admission

Our program has priority admission slots available. To be considered, you must be:
Employed by Sodexo in any segment as a manager or a frontline employee, or
Employed by a Sodexo client and are supervised by a Sodexo manager
