The Sodexo Dietetic Internship prepares diverse dietetic interns in a flexible, individualized manner to become entry-level registered dietitian nutritionists. Program graduates are self-directed leaders who promote and advance the profession of dietetics in caring for and improving the health and wellness of individuals and communities they serve.

Sodexo Dietetic Internship Goals
Program Goal #1 The program graduate will be a self-directed leader with high professional standards who promotes and advances the profession of dietetics in various settings.

- At least 80% of interns complete the program requirements within 12 months (150% of planned program length) for those who are full-time interns.
- At least 80% of interns complete the program requirements within 18 months (150% of planned program length) for those who are part-time interns.
- At least 80% of interns complete the program requirements within 27 months (150% of planned program length) for those who are part-time interns (completing the MS/DI option).
- At least 80% of interns complete the program requirements within 12 months (150% of planned program length) for those enrolled in a self-identified graduate program.
- At least 90% of program graduates take the CDR credentialing exam for dietitian nutritionists within 12 months of program completion.
- The program’s one-year pass rate (graduates who pass the registration exam within one year of first attempt) on the CDR credentialing exam for dietitian nutritionists is at least 80%.
- 80% of program graduates will rate that the program guided and supported them in their development as self-directed leaders as “extremely well” or “moderately well” in the one-year post-graduate survey.
- 80% of program graduates will score “extremely well” or “moderately well” in the one-year post-graduate survey for “the internship provided me with the skills to advance the profession of dietetics in various settings”.
- 90% of employers of graduates will score program graduates as “excellent or good” on the following measures on the 1-year graduate evaluation: leadership, self-direction, and critical thinking.
Program Goal #2 - The program graduate will be a competent dietetics practitioner from a diverse background who is committed to improving the health and wellness of individuals and communities they serve.
- Of graduates who seek employment, at least 80% are employed in nutrition and dietetics or related fields within 12 months of graduation.
- 80% of program graduates will score “extremely well” or “moderately well” in the one-year post-graduate survey for “the internship provided me with the skills to improve the health and wellness of the individuals and communities I serve”.
- >20% of accepted interns will be from diverse backgrounds e.g. different countries, cultures, ethnicity, age, and gender.
