Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I)
A Message from the dietetic internship faculty
In unification with our parent organization, the Sodexo Dietetic Internship is committed to inclusion, diversity, and social justice. Our mission is to prepare diverse dietetic interns in a flexible, individualized manner to become entry-level registered dietitian nutritionists.
Our tagline – innovative, inclusive, and individualized – drives all aspects of our internship.
As our nation continues to grapple with social injustices and racism, our internship faculty has prepared a framework to further address diversity in dietetics. We have created this page to share highlights of our journey toward this vision and to provide you with resources related to dietetics, social justice, and diversity.
Based on discussions with interns and our internship faculty, we have made some important changes to our internship program.
Here are 5 commitments we’ve implemented:
We hope you’ll continue to follow our journey as we continue to prepare our interns to serve diverse communities.
