"To me, good health is more than just exercise and diet. It’s really a point of view and a mental attitude you have about yourself."
-Albert Schweitzer

The Wellness Concentration offers 2 Tracks
-- Health Promotion and Integrative Nutrition --

Health Promotion Track
The health promotion track provides an opportunity for interns to gain and demonstrate skills in this trending area of practice.  Interns who choose this track will be qualified for employment in all market segments to meet burgeoning nutrition-focused wellness needs in corporations, universities, schools, healthcare, and/or senior living.  Interns who are placed in a Sodexo-managed account for this rotation will increase their knowledge of Sodexo’s wellness platform and other corporate initiatives.  Interns may choose to complete this concentration within or outside the Sodexo network.

During this 160-hour rotation, interns will:

  2. Work with on-site wellness directors, private practice, or outpatient dietitians, and/or HR managers.
  3. Develop a personal professional definition of wellness.
