Obtain your Master of
Science in Dietetics Online in 12 Months

An exciting and innovative partnership with the
University of Rhode Island
- now with 2 options -

1) Integrated Experiential Track
URI-Sodexo is offering a new integrated Future Education Model Graduate Program that was recently approved by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) for a fall 2022 start. The program meets the 2024 Commission on Dietetic Registration master’s degree entry-level RDN requirement. The competency-based curriculum integrates online master’s coursework with supervised experiential learning. Upon graduation, candidates will be eligible to complete the RDN exam.
We will open our application period on April 6. If you applied to Sodexo Dietetic Internship for the spring internship match, you will be eligible to enroll in the new integrated program after a successful match. The following groups are also eligible to apply:
-students who did not successfully match in the first round
-students who are graduating in August
-students who did not complete a didactic program in dietetics but who are able to provide evidence of completion of our program pre-requisites.

2) Individualized Experiential Track
By 2024, the Commission on Dietetic Registration will require entry level dietitians to have a minimum of a Masters degree in order to sit for the dietetic registration exam.
In anticipation of this requirement, Sodexo Dietetic Internship has partnered with the University of Rhode Island to offer an online, non-thesis Master of Science degree in Dietetics in conjunction with the supervised practice.  The theoretical coursework will enhance the experiential learning in the internship.  The MS in Dietetics offers 17 courses for a total of 37 credits.

Completion of the MS program is not required to obtain an internship verification statement.

Watch the embedded Voicethread presentation below explaining this track.
