​I had the pleasure of completing my food service rotation at Disneyland! I had worked in smaller food service settings before, but nothing compared to this. Working in a large-scale food production was one of the most eye-opening experiences I’ve ever had.
 
One of the projects I worked on while I was there was attempting to reduce food waste in Cast Member dining services. I was able to implement my recommendations on how to specifically reduce meatball waste, and after just one week of implementation, average waste cut down by half. Completing this project further developed my critical thinking and problem-solving skills. I had to be timely and efficient since this was affecting sales. They still use my recommendations to this day!
