DICAS
As mentioned above, we participate in the DICAS application.
The on-line application must be completed for our program by 11:59 p.m. Central Time on February 15 for the Spring match and September 25 for the Fall match.
The fee to use DICAS is $50 for the first application submitted and $25 for each additional application. Because we are one program with a number of Regions and are under one application, you will only need pay one DICAS fee regardless of how many of our Regions you choose.
Be sure to fill in all sections of the DICAS on the application--this is what we use to evaluate your experiences. We will not use your resume to obtain any work and volunteer information as a resume is not specific enough.

Official Transcripts from all colleges and universities attended should be sent to:

Recommendations
When completing the application form, applicants must include the name and contact information (specifically an e-mail address) for each reference. This will trigger an e-mail message requesting completion of a reference form.

The smartsheet is used to obtain relevant application information. All fields on the document are required. The concentration listings and your interest in the URI MS program information is used for statistical purposes only and the collected information will not affect the internship match. On the sheet we ask we also ask you to select all regions you are applying to, and then rank them in order of preference. |
Sodexo Internship Application Fee
The cost for applying to one of our regions is $55 and to two or more regions is $80.
Applying to multiple locations within the same region is considered as applying to one region.
For example, you can apply to Region 11A and 11B (see Sodexo Smartsheet online document below on this page). This would cost $55. If you add Region 4 to your selection, the cost is $80. If you decide to apply to Region 11A, 11B, Region 4, and Region 12, the cost is still $80.
We only accept credit card payment using the payment portal, which is accessed below.

Electronic Portfolio (required)
As applicants, you are required to submit an electronic portfolio highlighting your experience, achievements, goals, and commitment to the profession. Additionally, a well-crafted electronic portfolio demonstrates your computer and technology skills. Suggested platforms are: weebly.com, wix.com, squarespace.com, or any other professional website building platform you want to use.
We provide a space on the Sodexo smartsheet online document for your website address and, if you choose to have one, your password to access the published site. Make sure that your website address for the portfolio is clearly legible (best if typed).
LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Tik-Tok, and Portfolium profiles will not be accepted to fulfill this application requirement.

D&D Digital (Computer Matching)
We participate in computer matching. Please make sure to look at the useful links on top of this page that are pertinent to the computer matching process.
Applicants must register online with D&D Digital https://www.dnddigital.com computer matching and select dietetic internship priority choices by 11:59 p.m. Central Time on February 15 for the Spring match and September 25 for the Fall match.
There is a $55.00 computer matching fee to be paid to D&D Digital.

Interviews and Specific Questions about Your Application
The Selection Committee reviews every application. Applications are rated on every aspect of the DICAS application, including your portfolio. Applicants who achieve a score that meets or exceeds the qualifications of the Sodexo Dietetic Internship Selection Committee will be invited to interview in person or in a video conference call.
In accordance with ACEND guidelines, the Selection Committee will not provide information on application status to prospective interns during the selection process. All communications, regarding results of the application and appointment process, will come from D&D on the established notification dates during the Spring and Fall match times.

Preselect Option Applicants
The Sodexo Dietetic Internship has reserved 40 preselect slots per year for applicants who are either:
Please take the following steps if you are interested in participating in the preselect application process:
- Employed by Sodexo in any segment as a manager or a frontline employee, or
- Employed by a Sodexo client and are supervised by a Sodexo manager

- Submit application to DICAS* and all required Sodexo smartsheet online document information along with the application fee by January 20th for the Spring Match and August 18th for the Fall Match.
*Note: when completing the DICAS application, select that you are applying to programs that do not use D&D Digital. If you are not accepted as a preselect candidate, you have the ability to register with D&D and enter the number in prior to February 15th (Spring) and September 25th (Fall).
If you are planning to apply for the Spring Match, request your transcript early to avoid a delay in obtaining your transcript because of holiday related closures. - Email Erica Charles, National Director at Erica.charles@sodexo.com with the following information prior to submitting the application to DICAS:

Make sure that you...
- completed everything on the DICAS application correctly (including calculating your various GPAs, listing all your work experience, etc.) and submitted it by the deadline.
- created an online portfolio showcasing your accomplishments.
- completed the Sodexo Smartsheet and paid the correct application fee through the Sodexo Payment Portal.
