We are pleased to be able to offer an
international experience of up to 320 internship hours at a Sodexo account
in Canada, Europe or Australia. Two options for this rotation are
available: OPTION
1: You will have the opportunity to work in one of our facilities in
the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Ireland, or Wales). You will be
placed in a Sodexo facility for 120 hours of food service management and
will work with our National Dietitian for the UK on a special project for
your individual elective rotation hours. This project will be determined in advance with
the Internship Director and National Dietitian. Up to
2 interns a year can
be accommodated for this option.
OPTION 2: You may
choose to complete your international experience in another country provided
that:
- There is an appropriate Sodexo
location to complete the food service management competencies in that
country and appropriate preceptor in that location to
supervise the experience
- The location is safe according to
US diplomatic standards for the intern to travel to and live in
- Travel/Visa arrangements are
feasible for a short stay in the country
- Facility preceptors speak and
read English
- Communication between the
Internship Director and preceptor is feasible and reasonable

furthering his/her knowledge and skills in the field of dietetics. A
proposal for this experience will be submitted to the Internship Director
prior to beginning the international experience. See

than 25% of supervised practice hours outside of the US, at least 10 of the
hours in the rotation will have to be completed within the US. This
