Current Sites
All our interns are required to complete their clinical and part of their food service management rotations at Sodexo-managed accounts. Because we are a large company and our facilities can change at any time, it is impossible to have a list of all sites that might be available in any area. We do however, make every effort to place our interns in appropriate facilities as close as possible to the geographic location you request:
We do not have a list of sites. Please read below for our placement process
1. All our applications are initially screened and scored by the internship director. Based on the initial scores, approximately 80-100 finalists are interviewed and passed to the Selection Committee for further review.
2. The internship director will then contact the area support managers or specific accounts in the geographic areas requested by our finalists.
3. If there are no appropriate available Sodexo-managed facilities in an applicant's geographic area, the internship director will contact that applicant to give them the opportunity of withdrawing their name or being located in another geographic area if a match occurs. If the applicant chooses to withdraw his/her name, the applicant will be removed from the ranking list. Application fee is not refundable.
4. Generally this is only an issue for the clinical rotation. We have school, college, corporate and long term care accounts in most areas that would be available for the foodservice rotation. All other rotations are arranged by the intern--with internship faculty approval and support, in whatever geographic location they choose. These other rotations can be arranged AFTER the match.
