 Interested candidates must have...

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree from a U.S. regionally accredited University or College.
  • Completed an Approved Didactic Program in Dietetics at an CADE - accredited institution.

  • A valid DPD verification statement and  have completed their DPD courses within the last 5 years.


  • A good academic record.
  • Interns who successfully complete this internship are eligible to sit for the national registration examination to become a registered dietitian.
 
In addition, candidates should...

  • Have work experience (paid or unpaid) in a clinical, food service, and/or health care setting relating to dietetics.

  • Be able to demonstrate leadership skills.
