The Sodexo Healthcare Services Division New York Metropolitan Dietetic Internship is a general emphasis program offering a variety of experiences in clinical, food service management, and community settings.  Students who have completed DPD requirements are eligible to participate in this program. Interns who successfully complete this internship are eligible to sit for the national registration examination to become a registered dietitian.

FACTS ABOUT THE PROGRAM

• 10 interns admitted each year

• Interns placed at Sodexo-managed facilities in the New York Metropolitan Area

• One on one individualized training

• 9 1/2 month program from September to June, 40 hours per week

• Meet weekly for class time

• General emphasis

• Wide variety of learning experiences

  • 4 days of Program Orientation

  • 1 week of Clinical Orientation

  • 21 weeks of Clinical Nutrition Rotations

  • 9 weeks of Food Service Management Rotation

  • 4 weeks of Community Nutrition Rotations

  • 4 weeks of Advanced Practice

• Tuition $7,500
