Application Fee:

non-refundable for one geographic area or emphasis; $75 non-refundable for
2 or more geographic areas and/or emphases.

Tuition:
$8.000.00 - A non-refundable $1000 deposit is due
by June 1 for the fall class and by December 1 for February class. The
remainder of tuition is due on the first week of orientation. Our refund
policy is located under the Policies tab.

Health Insurance:
Interns must provide their own health insurance. A medical clearance form must
by provided by the intern prior to starting the dietetic internship program. The medical form will be
sent to the intern with the acceptance letter and
contains OSHA required immunizations and tests, as well as, a signed statement
by a physician medically clearing the intern to begin the program.
Professional liability insurance is provided by Sodexo.

Criminal
Background Check:
Interns are responsible for
the cost of doing a criminal
background check which Sodexo will complete. Cost varies depending on
state and the number of places the intern has lived in the last 7 years.
Average cost is about $60, but may be more or slightly less.

Housing:
Interns must provide for
their own housing. This expense will vary according to their living
arrangements.

Transportation:
Interns
are responsible for means and cost of transportation. The amount of time
and cost will vary depending on how far the intern lives from the rotation
sites. Interns are liable for safety in travel to and from their
assigned areas. Since the interns are responsible to complete their
rotations at numerous locations, travel can differ from week to week.
Many facilities provide free parking, but interns may have to pay for parking
in some rotation sites.

Meals:
Lunch meals are provided to the interns at free or reduced costs while at
Sodexo sites. Occasionally, interns will be asked to provide their own
lunch.

Lab Coats:
All facilities have a professional dress code which include comfortable closed
toe shoes. A lab coat is required and is provided by the intern.

Other Costs:
Most program materials will be provided at no cost to the interns. However,
textbooks are required to be purchased (if not already owned from college) at
a cost of about $200. Most other texts are kept in the dietitian’s offices
and can be borrowed by the intern. Other costs would include photocopying and
presentation materials.
