  • Now accepting applications for the February 2009 class.  Application deadline is September 25, 2008

  • 40 week, full-time dietetic internship with a general emphasis.

  • Accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education of the American Dietetic Association

  • Accept 12 interns per year

  • 6 start in August and finish in May

  • 6 start in February and finish in November (a great option for those graduating in December or have take off time after graduation)

  • Participate in the Nov and March matching

  • Instruction provided by many RD’s in areas including diabetes, pulmonary, renal, pediatric, wellness nutrition and food service management.

  • Pediatric emphasis has been approved.   If  you are applying to our program, the D & D digital codes are separate for the general and the pediatric emphasis.  You may apply to one or both programs.  If you are applying in September (February start) use #538 fore the general and #567 for the pediatric emphasis.  If you are applying in February (August start) use #293 for the general emphasis and #178 for the pediatric emphasis.   • Obtain experience in clinical, food service and community in various hospitals including Graduate Hospital, Capital Health System, Kennedy Health System, Frankford Health System, MCP Hospital, Virtual Health System and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

  • Class days every other week include didactic teaching and group projects

  • One week vacation 

  • Tuition:  $7500
