The program will
prepare graduates to be well-rounded, confident practitioners who apply basic
principles in the practice of dietetics to clinical, community and food
service management.
OUTCOME MEASURE

evaluations when asked if the internship prepared them to be well-rounded,
confident practitioners.
90% of employers surveyed
one-year & five years after program completion will score "Yes" when asked if
the graduate presents his/herself as a well-rounded, confident practitioner.
90% of program graduates will
score "Yes" on their post-program, one-year & five-year evaluations when asked
if the length & quality of the program sufficient to prepare them for an
entry-level position in clinical, food service management and community
Nutrition.
90% of employers surveyed

if the length & quality of the program was sufficient to prepare the graduate

GOAL TWO The program will prepare
graduates to pass the Registration Exam administered by the Commission on
Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association.
OUTCOME MEASURE

Program graduates over a 5-year
period will achieve at least an 85% pass rate on the Dietetic Registration
Exam administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.

graduates to demonstrate strong communication/presentation skills and apply
principles of marketing to the field of dietetics.

qualified dietetic students to complete their supervised practical experience
while being employed part-time with Sodexo Healthcare Services.
OUTCOME MEASURE

80% of the dietetic interns
will be employed with Sodexo Healthcare Services part-time concurrent with
their supervised practical experience.

GOAL FIVE The program will recruit
graduates for employment with Sodexo Health Care Services.
OUTCOME MEASURE

90% of interns will complete
Sodexo Health Care Services Dietetic Internship and receive a verification
statement from the program director.

60% of program graduates will seek full-time or part-time employment with
Sodexo Health Care Services within one year of graduation.

continue employment with Sodexo Health Care Services at least 5 years from
the date of hire.
